Ces deux portraits ont été commandés simultanément et étaient destinés à être offerts aux deux enfants qui y figuraient. La mère souhaitait que chacun d’eux ait son propre portrait original, basé sur deux photos différentes, mais prises au même moment. Je devais donc m’assurer que les sujets des deux portraits soient identiques dans leurs poses respectives.

These two portraits were commissioned simultaneously and meant to be gifts to the two children shown on the portraits, and the mother wanted each of them to have their own original portrait based on two different pictures, but taken of the same moment, so I had to make sure that the subjects on the two portraits looked identical in their respective poses.
